There are approximately 10,000 bird species on this beautiful planet. Welcome to 10,000 Birds, where, between us, we expect to eventually see every single one. Expect plenty of commentary on nature, science, politics, and blogging along the way.
10,000 Birds is powered by Mike Bergin, Charlie Moores, and Corey Finger.
We'd love to hear from you so drop us a line.
It’s been a while but now it’s time to get back to the serious business of bird blogging, people! I and the Bird #91, the first edition of the new year, will be hosted this week by T.R. of From the Faraway, Nearby. Please send your links and summaries to me or T.R. (trryan AT aol DOT com) by the end of the day.
As some of you know, I have the singular honor of moderating the discussion on blog carnivals at the upcoming ScienceOnline’09 sciblogging conference. In the interest of being as thorough as possible, I want to know which blog carnivals YOU favor, especially from the perspective of someone interested in nature and science. Which do you read and which do you participate in. While you’re at it, do you have any particular questions about any aspect of blog carnivals? If so, lay them on me!
