Almost anything looks good at 400 pixels wide…

I learned that from Katie of bogbumper. She’s right too. Since I started posting my photos at 400 pixels wide, my meager images have assumed some small measure of aesthetic accomplishment. Katie knows plenty of other things too. An enthusiastic naturalist, she seems equally enthralled by birds, bugs, beasts, and blooms. She knows about blogging too, and has put together a highly enjoyable I and the Bird #28 with gifts from the four corners of the globe for you to savour (did I mention she’s from the UK?) Enjoy!

No matter what corner of the globe you blog from, your writing on wild birds is very welcome at I and the Bird. I’m still on the road so your best bet is to send a link and a brief summary to our next gifted host, Leigh of Alis Volat Propiis. IATB #29 is scheduled for Thursday, August 3 so get those links to me or her by Tuesday, August 1!
