The first oil-soaked bird from the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico has been rescued.  The young Northern Gannet was washed with dish soap and a full recovery is hoped for.  In the meantime, the partial-term ex-governor of Alaska, you know, the crazy moron who almost became vice president, has posted an idiotic defense of continued drilling on her Facebook page.  Still, that beats Rush Limbaugh, who seems to think “environmentalist wackos” sabotaged the drilling platform and are to blame for the spill.  Seriously.
