Halloween weekend has arrived! I know Halloween as a highlight of the American autumn calendar, but have heard rumors that All Hallows’ Eve is observed in one form or another all around the world. Help educate me… share your knowledge or experience of Halloween celebrations outside of the United States!

This weekend, I will be trying to figure out if I can throw together a costume acceptable enough for Halloween parties. Corey will be combing coastal Queens for the kinds of treats late migration can bring. How about you? Where will you be this weekend and will you be birding? Share your plans in the comments below.

Whatever your plans this weekend, make time to enjoy SkyWatch Friday. Also be sure to come back Monday to share your best bird of the weekend!
