I’m calling for a Ravens-Eagles Super Bowl this year. Not only is it birdy, but it’s fitting for Edgar Allan Poe’s bicentennial.
I only hope the bird luck holds for the summer. I’d like to see the baseball Cardinals in the playoffs. I could live with the Os and Jays too,I guess…
Not only were bird teams undefeated this weekend, but so far only one bird team has lost in the playoffs – the Falcons, who lost to the Cardinals.
The Tlingit clan in southeast Alaska are all either eagles or ravens. If those two teams make it to the super bowl, there may be some rearranging of the totems.
