If you live in the northeastern United States, you recognize the upcoming long weekend as the peak of leaf-peeping season. If you don’t live in a temperate zone, you may not have even known that leaf-peeping is a thing!

I’ll be hazarding some chilly October camping in Lyman Run State Park this weekend. With hope, some birds will be passing through the area. Corey will be rocking a Big Sit in Queens, which he cordially invites you to attend if you’re in the area.

How about you? Where will you be this weekend and will you be birding? Share your plans in the comments below.

Whatever your plans this weekend, make time to enjoy SkyWatch Friday. Also be sure to come back Monday to share your best bird of the weekend!
