You might know about this already, but there’s a regular bird blogger at Daily Kos, who posts under the name lineatus.
A raptor that close screams to be noticed, appreciated, admired and documented. And a tagged one at that. Huh.
Spent the afternoon today along the Detroit river watching the eagles hunt up and down the river for a meal.
Wonderful birds to watch, but can’t get very close to them.
