Bo Beolens, known far and wide as the Fatbirder, has combed countless birding websites to compile one of the richest avian-themed online directories in the world. Consequently, we consider it no small honor to be included in his most recent list of top ten websites for birders. Sure, he might have gotten the history of our happy site wrong and maybe some of his favorites haven’t been updated for months or years but we’re still pleased! Plus we’re the only blog on the list.

Congrats. No offense to Charlie, but that history is WAY off.
WAY off…for the record Mike started 10,000 Birds and I joined almost exactly two years ago (bringing some much-needed British style I have to say – ha ha). Still I probably won’t be the one to mail Bo and put him right, I kinda like this particular re-write…
I thought 10,000 Birds sprang fully-formed from Zeus’s head? Now I’m totally confused…
Congrats to you for getting the recognition you deserve ! ! This site has been tops in my book for a long while. And yes, the history is skewed or something. But … You are here NOW and that is what counts.
Go Birds.
