Few locations sound more inviting than a cool Canadian lake in the height of summer. Bird Studies Canada conducts the Canadian Lakes Loon Survey to assess the long-term health and productivity of Common Loons and the lakes they love. Each June, July, and August, hundreds of volunteers observe loons on lakes. If you live in Canada or are just looking for an excuse to visit this summer, you might want to get involved!
