Yup got it. I wish it were more regional though — here in California, we got ourselves a BIG state and knowing what is happening down in the far reaches of southern California might be interesting but isn’t going to get me out bird chasing. I suspect that if one lived in oh, say, Rhode Island, one might want to know what was happening in surrounding states that are close enough to chase off to as well. But, otherwise, I’m all for it. Useful and technological — yay!
As Liza has said California is a big state, and so is Texas. Maybe someday Google can narrow it down a bit “closer to home.” Nonetheless, I think it’s a worthy gadget to add to my iGoogle.
Now that the Birdtrax/Accubirder gadget is defunct, do you know of any alternatives?
