We’re in the shoulder season now, perfectly poised to enjoy the fruits of the passing season and the one that lies ahead. Whatever the wind blows your way this weekend, be ready!

I’m headed down to the Chincoteague area for my annual pilgrimage, hoping to find a bevy of birds that have eluded me so far this year. Corey has the entire New York Atlantic coast to scour, which means he’ll be busy this weekend.

How about you? Where will you be this weekend and will you be birding? Share your plans in the comments below.

Whatever your plans this weekend, make time to enjoy SkyWatch Friday. Also be sure to come back Monday to share your best bird of the weekend!
