We at Golden Gate Audubon recently launched a new round of our Lights Out for Birds campaign, encouraging downtown office building managers and tenants to turn out the lights during migration season.
This study adds yet another reason for turning out downtown office lights at night.
We have free downloadable fact sheets and posters on our Lights Out web page if anyone wants to use them. They’re aimed at the Bay Area but could really apply anywhere.
You can find them at http://www.goldengateaudubon.org/conservation/make-the-city-safe-for-wildlife/learn-about-lights-out-san-francisco/
