Green Bay, Wisconsin, will put up nesting platforms and boxes in an attempt to lure birds of prey. The nesting program isn’t to benefit the birds but to try to contain a serious rodent problem. How cool is that?

Definitely cool as long as they aren’t poisoning the rats at the same time — in which case the slow moving dying rats become the easy pickings for the hawks. As you know, NYC has problems with hawks dying from eating poisoned animals.
