Bukit Fraser is mainly lush green. The birds are not. Jeff Kingma shared with me an abundance of photos of those birds showing off their colours. Enough to do something you would never expect from me: a photo post on Bukit Fraser.

Hearing about a photo post from Peter, I was very worried. No need, it seems.
That silver breasted broadbill is elegant and just stunning!! Great pics!
I guess that Bukit Fraser is what we used to call Fraser’s Hill. I’ve enjoyed some great birding there, but many years ago. Good to hear that it is still so productive.
Bukit Fraser is indeed the Bahasa Malaysia term for Fraser’s Hill
David, Peter just wants to show off with his knowledge of Bahasa, even though he probably does not speak it.
Now, that’s unfair! Nope, the signs on the road point to Bukit Fraser (Kai, I explained this very clearly in the post from a fortnight ago 😉 please pay attention), so as a service to our readers I wrote the term most likely found when traveling.
Peter, my apologies. I usually just look at the photos in your posts, don’t read them, though that has not served me particularly well in the past …
