Ah, grace… Amazing, isn’t it, and sweet sounding too! Grace, defined as elegance or beauty of form, manner, motion, or action, is a quality found in no short supply among the feathered flyers of this world. By these, I mean birds, of course, not angels. But it’s natural that some might think of heaven when speaking of grace. Grace is a powerful spiritual concept, a promise of mercy, cemency, even redemption. Whether you draw strength from God, nature, or the collective soul of humanity, you cannot deny that we can all use a little grace.

Jayne has a sense of how transformative this blessing can be. She is on a Journey Through Grace. Wisely, she’s chosen to make birds part of her path. This joyful journeywoman has graced us with the gift of a celebratory I and the Bird #45.

Are birds something you see along your journey or are they part of it? Become a part in the effortless elegance that is I and the Bird! Our benevolent bird blogging carnival is headed somewhere lovely dark and deep. Send your best writing on wild birds or birding to me or Corey (here471 AT yahoo DOT com) by April 3 for inclusion in the April 5 edition.
