Happy holidays one and all! Whether you’re indulging in the delights of a Christmas Bird Count or anxiously awaiting your annual freight of nature-themed gifts, all of us at 10,000 Birds hope you fully enjoy this last full weekend of an eventful year.

I’ll be home for Christmas looking out for the birds of the Twelve Days of Christmas, though I’m not likely to see many of them here in Western NY. Corey and family will be visiting his folks in New York’s Capitol Region. How about you? Where will you be this weekend and will you be birding? Share your plans in the comments below.

Whatever your plans this weekend, make time to enjoy SkyWatch Friday. Also be sure to come back Monday to share your best bird of the weekend!
