When one combines mildly crazy kayakers, eagles, the Hudson River, and winter, one could end up with a disaster. That’s one heck of a tale! I went kayaking when I was a boy but would never even dream of doing it in winter, let alone when there is floe ice around – no matter how numerous the eagles might be.
