A woman from Staten Island, New York City, managed to avoid jail time after being caught smuggling 720 pounds (!) of baboon and Green Monkey meat into the U.S. The judge decided that despite her eleven prior arrests he would give her probation instead of jail time, apparently because she has eight kids. Moral of the story? It’s fine to smuggle animal products if you have kids. Whatever happened to blind justice?

The bushmeat trade is wiping out monkeys and apes throughout western Africa, but that’s okay if you have a huge family? Un – fricking – believable.
Pathetic. Just pathetic. I guess I’ll start fathering a bunch of children so I can use that as a get-out-of-jail-free card. Now which bank do I rob first…
