Fall migration may want for some of the kaleidoscope colors adorning spring birds, but this time of year offers some of the most exciting birding you can ask for. If, that is, you get out and enjoy it!

Some interesting avifauna has been popping up in the Rochester area, and I aim to track a few birds down this weekend. Corey becomes such a whirlwind of bird watching during migration that you could practically see him anywhere, although your odds are best around Queens.

How about you? Where will you be this weekend and will you be birding? Share your plans in the comments below.

Whatever your plans this weekend, make time to enjoy SkyWatch Friday. Also be sure to come back Monday to share your best bird of the weekend!
