Apparently, nefarious forces are conspiring to bar birders from Arizona’s Ash Canyon. The poor proprietor of the Ash Canyon Bed and Breakfast, the single best place to see Lucifer Hummingbirds in the U.S., may be denied a permit to keep her business open, which would be a blow to us all. I haven’t seen these hummingbirds or Arizona Woodpecker yet, so I need your help. We ALL need your help! Check out Jeff Gordon’s plea on the ABA Blog for details on how you can be heard, but hurry because the deadline is tomorrow April 1 at noon.

Found your site while doing some research. Who knows what the reasoning was in taking this action, but at least the proprietor is still able to have guests… just some added “rules” to follow.
BTW… your readers might like to learn more about the Lucifer Hummingbird here.
Have bookmarked your site for more research… cheers!
