The name of our lodge is Casa Cubuy, and we have been open since the year 2000.

Most guests arrive here from San Juan in their rental car and a few by Uber or taxi.

We offer guided tours at additional cost.
What makes your lodge special?
Our location within the El Yunque Rainforest makes our lodge a wonderful experience for nature lovers. Guests can enjoy the biodiversity that the forest offers, and they can observe other animals like lizards and tree frogs.

It’s great at any time of the year, but between November and Ma,y we have the best weather.
Is your lodge involved in conservation efforts? If yes, please describe them.
We participate in neighborhood efforts to reduce litter, and all of our energy is generated by solar panels.
What other suggestions can you give to birders interested in visiting your lodge? (for example, what to bring, how to prepare for the visit, etc.)
Birders know what to bring for their purposes but if we can suggest anything it would be hiking shoes.
Do you have activities for non-birders? If so, please describe.
Non-birders can enjoy hikes and swimming in the river pools.
