From the Colombo International Airport, you can take multiple trains, buses, rent a car ,or even an Uber.
What kind of services – except for accommodation and food – does your lodge offer to visiting birders?
We provide village tours, farming tours, visits to tea factories & we can arrange for waterfall visits and other travels in Sri Lanka

What makes your lodge special?
It’s a small, peaceful bungalow, very accessible, especially for older travelers. It is not in a very remote location, but close to a main road. The lodge gives you a space to relax and connect with nature, and the surroundings also give you a chance to explore your spiritual energy by practicing yoga and meditation.
What are the 10 – 20 most interesting birds that your lodge offers good chances to see?
The most common would be Sri Lankan Wood Owl, Sri Lankan Wood Pigeon, different Parakeets, White Eyes, Flycatchers, Sri Lankan Grey Hornbill.

The birdwatching season in Sri Lanka runs primarily from November to April, which coincides with the arrival of migratory birds escaping the northern winter.

Bring any medication that you may be taking and advise us in prior if you need anything specific so we can pre-arrange the service for you.

Yes, we have a playground for kids, we have a large conference hall, tents, etc.
