The White-eyes present on Kolombangara are the Zosterops murphyi, which are only found from 700m above sea level, and Zosterops rendovae, found at all elevations.

May to October is known as the dry season and is best for hiking and bird watching.

Our Resort has natural lakes behind the property leading to our virgin forest, also owned by the Resort, which is now a rare forest on the island of Kolombangara after many years of logging activities.
